You mean you don’t wish you could say (as of Sunday) “Tommy Tuberville is my senator”? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk At least its an upgrade from Jones, I know upgrading from Jones doesnt take much if anything. The only positive about Tubby is that he makes Mo Brooks our second dumbest representative in Washington. His whole campaign was about how far his head is jammed up Trump’s ass. Which won’t do him much good after January 20. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Campaign are about winning. He and Mo won so they are smarter than you are giving them credit. Tuberville is smarter than Jones because he knew how to win and Jones could have won if he didnt have is head stuck up the far left of the D party. We will soon see if he was using his Senate seat to secure a party appointed position. May not like their policy believes but to be real honest none of these guys are real dumb.

Tubby won because he had an R by his name. Had nothing to do with him being smarter.

Take care of yourself King, and this 19 stuff is spreading like wildfire in Alabama. At the rate its going everyone will have had it by February. Add it to the reasons I'm glad to not live in Alabama anymore. 🙂 They ain't no rona here. President Tsai has done an amazing job. I'll wear my mask and wash my hands and go out to eat with my family to the mall or whatever. We are lucky to be here right now.

Dont let your guard down Taiwan has seen a spike in December. Still low numbers compared to most other countries. And more importantly deaths have been at zero for awhile.
Nowhere to hide in the USA, some giving Alabama hell, every state seems to be on the increase.

Nowhere to hide in the USA, some giving Alabama hell, every state seems to be on the increase. Michigan has been on the way down. Our daily rate is down well below Alabama's despite the fact our state is twice as large and we've done 5x more tests than Alabama. It's not going half bad all things considered.

Every state but Wyoming is up this week according to John Hopkins. Michigan is ahead of Alabama this week in new cases but not by much especially considering Pop difference. Not testing as many per 100K but we are at 46.4% positive. Michigan is only 9.1%. No idea what the testing data means but that is a huge difference.

We are the second highest state in positive test %. Idaho is the only one with a higher percentage at 54.7%. Puerto Rico is listed as 100%, which is odd.

Alabama is second lowest in the Southeast for new cases. Of course we are on the low end of Pop too. Mississippi is the only one lower.
Alabama is the lowest in Southeast in testing per 100K. 171.8 per 100K

Dont let your guard down Taiwan has seen a spike in December. Still low numbers compared to most other countries. And more importantly deaths have been at zero for awhile. Nowhere to hide in the USA, some giving Alabama hell, every state seems to be on the increase. The spike was entirely imported cases caught at the airport and in quarantine - with one exception. A pilot lied about his travel and gave it to his girlfriend in Taipei. They contact traced and found no evidence of transmission to anyone else. The increase in global cases has caused Taiwan to implement stronger policies again - mandatory masks in public places, etc. That said, you are right to be on guard. The quarantine requirements for those entering the country and the airport checks and tracing has been very effective, but all it would take would be one person slipping through the cracks and the right circumstances for an outbreak to happen. I still feel lucky to be here, but I miss traveling and visiting home.
