I ran in to town for lunch at Jefferson's today and stopped by for a few pics. I hope the photo attaches properly; If not I'll try to upload another way. [Edit: click on the pic for larger version]

I know this has probably been mentioned, but I either missed it or forgot about it. At this point, anything's possible.
Is the old press box coming down before this fall, or is it staying for one more season?
(And if anything interesting is happening at the site of the old field house, please share a pic or two. No need to post a photo of dirt...)

Perhaps the top secret answer is in the trunk of Biden's car.

Drove by today. The fieldhouse is gone, the old home use is still the same as last season. What is being built next door to Curtis hall?

Construction next to Curtis Hall is the new dining hall.
I was on campus on Monday to purchase our Club Level seats for fall 2023. I asked about the visitors side plan. I was told that bleachers or chair back seats will not be available for 2023 season. Plan is to use the bear concrete for seating or standing.
Looks like The old visitors side will be handled in the next phase of renovation of the stadium.

On Monday all that I could see was that the construction site is simply a large hole in the ground. Looks like The Loring & Debbie Whit's Football Complex footprint is three times the size of the field house. Foundation work should start soon.

Gamecock73 Reckon the wait is so that a more impressive/extensive work will be done.

On Monday all that I could see was that the construction site is simply a large hole in the ground. Looks like The Loring & Debbie Whit's Football Complex footprint is three times the size of the field house. Foundation work should start soon. If you look VERY closely at the renderings which were released, you can tell it's a little larger, but there's really no firm sense of scale. People giving it a casual glance just see what would've amounted to a cosmetic change to the (formerly) existing building. It's awesome that it's a much larger facility, especially that much larger. As for the dining hall, the new one is going in right on top of the old Weatherly Hall site, where a lot of us used to tailgate back in the day. The current dining hall will apparently still have some kind of student dining use, but on a much smaller scale, and the remaining space will be converted for additional student meeting space. With Leone Cole on the back side of the same building, it'll almost be like a mini-convention center, with a combination of large, medium, and small meeting spaces, potentially with the capability to do catering in the same building. (Note that this is my interpretation, and not anything official that I've heard. I can think of some interpretations of the same news which are radically different, so take this with a grain of salt until someone else can confirm.)
