Let's not lose sight of the fact that higher education is about education and not football. One day isn’t going to set anyone back It's been my observation that the attitude toward education has already set these kids back probably since elementary school.

We should cancel classes for during the week games . Encourage students to go to the games . Let's not lose sight of the fact that higher education is about education and not football. Can't believe I am agreeing with Red but he is right. Way back when I was in J'ville The Kappa Sigs started gameday "warm up" around 10 AM, regardless of what day of the week the game was played or who we played. Our philosophy was "Can't let grades get in the way of your education." CANCEL CLASSES.

Most universities do cancel classes especially for Thursday night games . We either want students at the game or we don’t want them. If it makes you feel better, Thursday night classes can be an extra 45 minutes to make up missing Tuesday or whatever week game cause the class to be cancel .
