I will be working and tied up for most of the game, so I am opening the board early. Mods will be around as always, I am sure. Lets keep it civil and if any of our Liberty friends take advantage of the no-registration-required posting on this forum, show them why we are called the friendliest campus in the south...while sending their team home with an "L!"

Yesterday, I was talking TV ratings with some Liberty fans on X-twitter. At the time, the Week 6 numbers weren't available, and I said 100K viewers would make me happy for an ESPNU game. Now that the Week 6 numbers are out, it looks like I need to up my standards. The JSU-MTSU game drew 145K on ESPNU, outdrawing Saturday's USF-UAB game on ESPN2. In both Week 5 and Week 6, Jax State was the highest drawing game on the U. Since we're playing Liberty, I'd expect us to top 150K easily. We might even shoot for 200K.
Here's how the ESPN linear networks compare when broadcasting G5 games over the past two weeks:
WEEK 6
ESPN HI-G5: WKU-La Tech 567K (Thursday)
ESPN2 HIGH: Texas Tech-Baylor 481K (Saturday)
ESPN2 HI-G5/FCS: Cornell-Harvard 153K (Friday)
ESPNU HIGH: JSU-MTSU 145K (Wednesday)
ESPN2 LOW: USF-UAB 143K (Saturday)
ESPNU LOW: Toledo-UMass 16K (Saturday)
WEEK 5
ESPN HI-G5: Temple-Tulsa 567K (Thursday)

Just ate at Struts and now I am 100% stuffed and miserable for the game. Can't find any white JSU stuff anywhere. Not going to be much of a whiteout tonight unless they're giving away shirts.

Zion is included in the Team Captains for tonight’s game, I assume that means RR is giving him the start. I really hope our offense can come out firing on all cylinders tonight

And there's the overthrow int. Webb need to be a change of pace. I doubt we beat liberty if he plays the whole game.

JK, we are not to that point yet, bad throw by Webb for sure but it’s just our first drive of the night. Defense has forced two quick outs by Liberty so that is good. Looks like Zion is down now so we will see Smothers come in a lot earlier |
