I’m not going to lie, seeing the success of Bucky at Samford and Schertz at Indiana State makes me a little pessimistic too. I'm not going to lie, Bucky has a NIL program available. I would bet my house Indiana State has one also. Don't say I didn't warn you. They do- the administration at Jax St ( boosters, BOT, AD and President) are all in on football and leaving the basketball program out to dry.

NIL is great and necessary, but NIL didn’t lose 6 games by 2 points or less and 4 straight to end the season. Better players allow you to win some of those games. This team is devoid of talent- direct result of no NIL money.

But above all, our players are first class people. In the the last regular season game with FIU we lost Caleb Johnson to injury? Perhaps just some NIL funds would have given us one more player, maybe not. I do know for certain we had opportunities but they bolted after learning there is ZERO NIL available. BTW .. we're the only basketball program in CUSA without one.
