So much for bringing back a returning star next season... The new rule will have these guys routinely leaving . Thes players will stay one year and off to the next school .

Gotta start recruiting internationally. International athletes don't qualify for NIL, so it gives us a fighting chance to hold on to them. This would be hard to do in American football, but we should have a much easier time with something like basketball.

Number of Foreign NBA Players by Country (min. 5, data from 2022-23 season) Canada 22 (4.4% of all players) Australia 10 (2%) France 9 (1.8%) Germany 6 (1.2%) Nigeria 5 (1%) Spain 5 (1%) Serbia 5 (1%) So there are our target countries. tl;dr: It's a loophole that sucks for international players, but represents a potential goldmine for a school willing to devote its recruiting to overseas players.

Travis Roberts has landed at Marist of the MAAC.
Marist ended this past season ranked #215 by KenPom. (Jax State was #200.)

Quincy Clark has landed at UMass Lowell of the America East conference.
UMass Lowell ended the season ranked #153 by KenPom, with a 22-10 record.

KyKy Tandy has reportedly landed at FAU of the AAC.
The Owls finished this past season #47 on KenPom, and were Final Four participants in 2023, their final year of membership in CUSA.

KyKy Tandy has reportedly landed at FAU of the AAC. The Owls finished this past season #47 on KenPom, and were Final Four participants in 2023, their final year of membership in CUSA. So no big upgrade for him . That says a lot about our coaches . We losing talent to another G5 school . Not good .
