2006 grad. Met my now wife while in school. I worked for JSU during the summers helping with summer camps.
I have friends from the dorms who still get together even though we live all over the southeast.
I raise hell and tailgate with Boomtown before all home and as many away games as possible.

B. S. Music Ed - 1975 M. S. Music Ed - 1977
I was a Vocal Major. I was in the A Cappella Choir. I lived in Logan Hall except for summers and minimesters. Met a JSU nursing student in '72 married her in '74. She finished her B.S. R.N. in '75. She and I lived in a garage apartment on West Mountain Avenue "behind" Paul Snow Stadium. West meant it was the stadium side of Pelham. The other side of Pelham was East Mountain Avenue. We walked across the street and up the hill to the front of the stadium on Trustee Circle to get in the gate for games. East and West Mountain Ave are now Mountain Street and the back of the stadium is now the front of the stadium. The apartment and the landlord's fine white house in front of it are both gone. There was just an empty lot there when I last saw it in 2019. I worked on the crew that erected the parts shelves in the Federal Mogul building as the building itself was being constructed.
My oldest daughter graduated from JSU with a Law Enforcement degree in 2005. She also lived in Logan Hall for a while. Here's hoping my granddaughter decides to attend starting in Fall 2022.

Graduated in 1988 with BA in Mass Communications. Grew up in Jacksonville. Many of you probably bought homecoming corsages from my mom. Mom was also a Phi Mu sponsor, so occasionally, when I was 4-7 years old, my living room would be packed with college coeds, including at least three future Miss Alabamas (Cil Jenkins, Jane Rice & Theresa Cheatum).Around that same time, my dad would stop by the stadium during home games and we’d watch part of the game or the halftime show through the fence. (chain-link with wooden slats back then) I could hear the Southerners practicing from my front yard. Kitty Stone was my 1st grade principal. I rode my bike to the baseball games and chased foul balls up and down “the hill” as a teenager. Went to high school where the new Rec building is, and my high school band room is now Kennamer Hall. Went to school with Clarkie Mayfield’s son and Jim Fuller’s daughters. My oldest brother was a team manager for Charlie Pell. Both brothers graduated from JSU, Ricky in ‘77 with a degree in education (became a high school coach) and Barry a year later in accounting. One of my best friends was the manager for Bill Jones’ 1985 Nat’l Champs, so I spent a lot of time yelling at the GSC referees that year. Couldn’t make it to Springfield, Mass for that natty, but saw the football natty and all of the baseball World Series in person.
