No. We need somebody that can win or has the desire to win. Every game. Not just half of them. Take a deep breath.
Let this sink in for a minute:

Let this sink in for a minute:Interesting suggestion. I do wonder, given his name and experience, why he has mostly been a position coach his entire career. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why, just why can’t we give Paul Johnson a call? I know he’d probably say no thanks, but…. He just might consider us. He would be a great pick in my book. I'd be outraged if we settled for the triple option while transitioning to the FBS. It has its place among schools that have a hard time attracting top athletes (Military academies, schools with higher admission standards). But it's awful football.

In 5 OTs.

Good idea for an interview. Confirmed candidate This and the Muschamp rumor make me wonder if the coaching salary is more than we are expecting. Based on some of the names getting tossed around as being in the mix it seems like Greg and co. are trying to swing for the fences.

"From 1989 to 1994, Steele coached the linebackers under Nebraska legend Tom Osborne. During his six years in Lincoln, the Cornhuskers went 60-11, appeared in six bowl games, won four conference championships and captured the 1994 national championship with a 13-0 record." Been in the game a while with some damn good teams. I could get behind this.

Art Briles has 4 of them, Grant Teaff had 3 in the 80s, and Matt Rhule has the other. Baylor historically has been TERRIBLE. And the B12 during his tenure was loaded with top 10 teams. FWIW I thought he should have replaced Malzahn at Auburn.
