The other issue though is that the cost of testing will likely cripple a lot of schools. Allegedly, ADs are meeting with conference presidents over the next day or so to discuss. But it sounds like they are proposing pushing the start of the season back and going conference only. The reason being there is apparently a cheaper testing option on the horizon.

Very soon it’ll be time to cut bait or go fishing. IMO there’s going to be plenty of chum to go around.

Test cost about $10 each. Cut the roster or pay about 850 dollars per game.

There is state funding for mass testing in Alabama, so JSU should be good on that front.

There is state funding for mass testing in Alabama, so JSU should be good on that front. I’m not sure if that covers how frequently sports will have to test. It covers it for 1-2 tests per student I think. But football would have to test at least once per week at the minimum. Last I heard, it was once every 3 days for JSU, at least that’s what they were doing when athletes came back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
