If I recall from the Anustown Star article that we'll be hiring a S&C coach for FB only. Curious if our training table/nutrition program will change based on the move up to FBS? Or does that carry on in it's current state?

Maybe I missed the announcement but I just saw that Kurt Kennedy is now our Recruiting Coordinator according to his Twitter page. Evidently old JR has been shown the door.

Very promising that people would rather come here than stay at ULM.

Very promising that people would rather come here than stay at ULM. Is it? ULM isn't exactly a program I'm keen to see us emulate.

Three of their four wins this season were over Jackson State, Troy, and USA… 3 teams I would love to mudhole. The other was Liberty. They were decidedly mediocre this year, which was several orders of magnitude better than 0-10 last season.

They were decidedly mediocre this year, which was several orders of magnitude better than 0-10 last season. Exactly. Don't look at ULM's history. Look at ULM's history with Coach Rod: 2020 - HC Matt Viator - 0-10 2021 - HC Terry Bowden (with assistant HC and OC Rich Rodriguez) - 4-8 ULM's final four losses in 2021 were all close: - an 8-point loss to Texas State
- a 3-point loss to Arkansas State
- a 13-point loss to LSU
- a 5-point loss to SBC Champ Louisiana
The sample size is small, but the results are clear. When you're rebuilding an underfunded winless program, and you not only add four wins, but end the season with close losses to an SEC team and your conference champion, it's significant. Had Rich Rod and company been at ULM for 5-10 years, I'd be far less enthused.

I hope Uriah West gets the ball 500 times a game under this guy.
