Graduate transfer with recent ankle surgery. Wonder where he'll end up? UCF maybe with Malzahn. I've heard JSU too. UCF would make sense. JSU? Hmmm...

JSU wouldn't make much sense for Bo, if he's wanting to improve his draft stock.
He has one year of eligibility remaining. Playing that one year with an FCS team or transitioning team would only open doors to the dreaded "lower level of competition" curse.
UCF wouldn't hurt him as bad in that department, and he'd have the benefit of knowing the offense. Unless he gets a P5 offer, I'd be shocked if he landed anywhere else.

UCF’s quarterback this year was a freshman who led them to an 8-4 record.

Will Bo be a package deal with his Dad and younger brother?

I think the JSU rumor is part wishful thinking by some and part seeing RR talking to Pat Nix at the super 7.
I'm sure we will find out the destination soon.

athlonsports.com/college-football/bo-nix-transfer-schools-nebraska-ucf-south-carolina-ole-missThe only thing in it for Bo to come to JSU would be if he just really, desperately wants to remain in the state of Alabama. I mean, sure, he's got the skillset to flourish in Rich Rod's offense... and if he had more than one year of eligibility remaining, I could see JSU being a STRONG contender, but if Bo has NFL dreams AT ALL, he'll probably want to play at a non-transitioning school. Besides, I kinda want to see our current QBs under a new system first. Caldwell, Raquet, and even Webb could be amazing in the Hot Rod. I'd hate for us to bring in a one-and-done and keep those guys from developing.

Georgia Tech grad transfer. Still has three years eligibility remaining. Would be a nice pick up don't ya think Whup? It could be. He didn't start for Tech, and may not even be a starter for us, but his high school resume was really promising, so who knows how he'd do in Rich Rod's offense? But I like his intangibles. One thing he'd probably bring is leadership. He seems to be a great character kid who graduated in 3 years from Georgia Tech. That's an accomplishment in itself. Put someone like that on a team going through a transition, and good things can happen. Having him for three years seals the deal, and gets him past my "no transfer QBs" request for this signing period.

Tech is a dumpster fire right now. Would not surprised to see lots of kids transfer out.

If tech is so bad why was he not the starter.

If tech is so bad why was he not the starter. Because Jeff Sims is a sophomore and is more talented as a dual threat. Yates is really good though and just couldn’t win the job.

Only thing I saw when watching their games was Sims should be playing elsewhere, he’s so good, and the GT OL was horrendous & they had a less desired group of receivers.
