This part was different than what I remember from the PC
The Jacksonville State athletics department knows how to keep a secret.
JSU athletics director Greg Seitz said Rich Rodriguez accepted the offer to be the school's next head football coach last week.
The two sides were able to keep the agreement secret until reports started surfacing Monday afternoon.
"Out of respect for coach and his son being the last game, we didn't want that to be the story," Seitz said. "I'll be honest, I am a little surprised we were able to keep it under wraps. In published stories and reports out there, his name was never brought up. We had some messages back and forth that it was still under the radar, I was surprised about that."
