In August in Montgomery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Should have been expecting you to like it. Limited seats available. Marketing and $ from ESPN. Alabama is playing in Texas two weeks later at 11:00. I think that is a stupid idea and I won’t be there. Just not a fan of heat stroke. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think that is a stupid idea and I won’t be there. Just not a fan of heat stroke. I went to the Bama-Kent State game in 2016. (Free tickets.) It was an 11 a.m. kick during a September heat wave. Hottest game in Bama history. Miserable. They were literally carrying people with heat exhaustion out of the stands from the 2nd quarter on. Locals made a mint that day selling bootleg 20 oz bottles of ice water for $5 each. It sucks, but JSU fans will just need to buck up and deal with it until the stadium renovation is complete. Folks with health issues should buy club level seats or stay home. Everyone else just needs to hydrate like their lives depend on it. They'll be miserable, but they'll be fine.

I’ll be there. I went to both of the other Montgomery games. It was extremely hot at the tailgates. Thought I was going to die. Probably didn’t help I walked to go see Hank Williams before one of the games.

I survived the 1 pm games a few.years back. I believe 2 or three did succumb to the heat during one of those games.
Don’t know if I want to suffer through it again or not.
Ps you do not need lights to start a game later in the day to evening it doesn’t get dark till 6-7 pm. In September October etc.

You guys complaining about the heat should try going to a 1PM game, wearing the old Southerners uniforms, carrying gear, and marching halftime. Then come talk to me.
It's one season for good reason. I know 1PM kicks suck and I hate them too but it will be ok. If you don't want to go, cool. No problem. But there's a reason it's a 1PM kick and it's not to give you heat stroke.

Am I a bad fan if I complain about the heat or does that only apply to critics of mediocre baseball programs?
I have skybox tickets due to physical problems. I can afford them. For those who can’t, “screw you, sucks to be you” seems to be everyone’s position.
