Dude could sing, hadn't heard his music in a while. Brings back some good memories.

Rode to Jacksonville one time with Two out of Three Ain't Bad in the cassette player when the radio was broken. RIP

At a time in my life when I was searching for a college home (I'd left JSU after my freshman semester... I'd eventually return. I just didn't know it yet...) I visited a certain major university in Gainesville, Fla.
I had a freaking blast, and likely would've transferred there, except that everyone I spent that weekend with -- literally every single one of them -- was graduating the following spring.
What does this have to do with Meat Loaf and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light"?
I'm not gonna say. But trust me when I say this: I've known the lyrics by heart ever since that Saturday night.

Great story Whup. Classic.

I saw him at Lakewood Amphitheater in 1994 on the Bat 2 tour. Cheap Trick opened. Great show.
He cursed a lot during his show while talking to the audience. At one point he was taking a break and talking to the audience. He commented that his fans were older and now and many had kids and brought them to the show. He said kids, if you are under 12, I am an entertainer and you don’t need to be using the language I am using up here. Parents, if your kids are over 12 don’t blame me, they are already using it.
