Added former consensus 3-star DT Brayden Wood, a Kansas State transfer. He redshirted for the Wildcats this past season and has 4 years of eligibility remaining.

Updated #20's destination. Not gonna lie. I'm gonna miss him. I wish he was used better while he was here. Best of luck to #20.

Finally got confirmation on WR Sterling Galban. He is, in fact, enrolled at JSU and will suit up for the Gamecocks this fall.

“What I bring to the table for this program is my work ethic and dawg mentality. I feel that in order to have a great team you need leaders that lead by example,” said Galban."
This is good, I think we lacked a clear leader/s in the locker room as of late.

If he is such a great leader the situation shouldn’t have gotten unhealthy.
Good leaders fix problems. Followers quit.

Sometime your not in a position to change an unhealthy situation. Doesnt mean your not a leader. Most leaders travel some uncomfortable paths. Followers dont always quit some just continue in abusive or bad situations.

Wow... I never thought I'd see the day when Gamecock fans are pissed that we've pulled in some players from the transfer portal WHICH THE ENTIRE FREAKING COLLEGE FOOTBALL UNIVERSE is using.
Sweet God...

If he can help the team, that’s great. Just calling BS on him saying he’s some great leader.

Good grief. Nowhere in his quote did he specifically call himself a some great leader. His "feelings" are that in order to have a great team you need leaders that lead by example. Good enough for me, I'll give him and the rest the benefit of the doubt.

Congrats to former Gamecock DB Darius Joiner. He transferred to Western Illinois last year, and has now upgraded to Duke of the ACC. I wish he could've stayed with JSU, but I wish him the best regardless.

Does anyone have a 2022 Summer Schedule Timeline?
1. When does the new recruiting class both High School and Transfer Portal signees officially report? 2. When does summer camp officially start and stop? 3. Is there a depth chart coming out of Spring? I am sure with all the transfers it has alot of missing players at this point.....
My son, Josh Brady, played for 4 years under Coach Grass and had an incredible experience and career at JSU. I will always support JSU and am anxious to see how all the changes in the program reflect on the field once the season begins. Go Gamecocks!!!!
