Anyone have any idea how much the tickets will be? Not really. In 17 they were $100. Can't imagine they'd be any cheaper, and probably more expensive. I still have my stub from that game. Might start a collection.

Anyone have any idea how much the tickets will be? JSU ticket office will have some tomorrow. Don’t know the price there. I paid $120 each on Ticketmaster plus fees. Probably should have waited for the JSU ticket office but they didn’t announce they were going to have tickets until this evening.

I'm excited about watching the game, but Auburn beats us by 25 without even trying. Since you are so confident, the official line is Auburn-16.5. You have a chance to make a lot of money.

Any idea of how much money we gather in participating in the tournament?
By not winning the ASUN tournament, it's like a nice windfall!!!!
"Show me the money!"

I've watched several bracket analysis videos, and the following themes keep repeating:
1) Auburn has the talent to roll JSU.
2) Auburn consistently underperforms away from home.
3) The ASUN tourney aside, Ray Harper's teams usually play well in tournaments.
4) JSU's strengths match up well with Auburn's weaknesses.
5) While the Tigers are definitely favored, the Gamecocks will not be an easy out. Only a few guys think Auburn will cover the current spread.
6) This one is most encouraging: Nearly every analyst I've seen has called the Midwest the weakest, most underwhelming bracket. While that's kind of insulting to JSU (and Auburn, Kansas, etc.) it also means if the Gamecocks can upset the Tigers, we have a (small) chance to advance. Now, I am NOT -- I REPEAT NOT -- saying the Gamecocks are going to make the Final Four, or even the Elite Eight, I am saying that the Sweet Sixteen is more in our grasp than it would normally be... if we can just get past the Tigers. (Which obviously isn't an easy task.)

Don't tell troysux that I got that close. He doesn't think I know anything and let's leave it that way. Never said that. Just don’t understand your obsession with Murray State. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good fan base that really sold tickets for the OVC tournament.

The best game that I've personally attended at the Pete was when we beat them and Ja on a Thursday night. The place was packed and loud. It should be like that every time.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That's a good question. I'll give you two different answers. 1. Each of the 4 channels (CBS, TNT, TBS, truTV) are set for each sessions. Such as JSU vs Auburn and then Miami vs USC are on truTV. Then the night games at Greenville switch to CBS. 2. But if somehow this happened in Lexington, I have a hard time believing that UK would be on truTV. Can someone out there check their cable, DirecTv or Dish Network quide and report what Channel 42 is carrying? Also check whatever CBS channel that they get in Auburn. I'll try to google it and see what I find. (I get Atlanta CBS).

I'm really upset this game isn't in Indy, Milwaukee, Buffalo, or Pittsburgh. I 100% would have drove out to go to the game. South Carolina is a bit further than I care to go. It’s simply horrible that we were sent to a site that is a four hour drive from campus rather than Indy, Milwaukee, Buffalo, or Pittsburgh. It really is. Now I have to get plane tickets and hotels and rental cars. Good thing Im sitting on half a million points I guess.

I found a thread on the other board from five years ago saying our game against Louisville was on CBS in Birmingham. I don’t know if the station was supposed to get it to begin with if there was a switch because it involved a school from the Birmingham market.
The ESPN site says CBS is carrying Ohio State-Loyola in our time slot. I would imagine any CBS affiliate in Alabama would try to get the Auburn game if the network allowed it.
Alabama and UAB are both listed on TNT. Both are playing Friday but at different times. A triple header involving four state schools sounds like a ratings bonanza for CBS 42.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk There is a contract between CBS and Turner. My guess is that CBS gets first dibs and they will pick the rating winners. Looking at Fridays games CBS want the cities of Chicago, Columbus (OH), Philadelphia, Detroit and the Duke nation. Thursday CBS has Detroit, Denver, Knoxville, San Francisco and Kentucky nation (UK and UK watching Murray). The Montgomery paper said Auburn was going to be on truTV there. Hope this link works. It shows the TV networks for Friday. pbs.twimg.com/media/FNxSQ0nUYAQzsQo?format=png&name=largeAttachments:

AL.com says the Alabama game will be on TNT. So likely Auburn-JSU will stay on truTV in Birmingham.
