I just think the brick is an unnecessary expense when it could be used as a revenue generating ever-updating, billboard for self promotion of the football program. Sell ads, cover it with logos for more TV visibility, make a “Wall of fame” to former players, do something eye-catching and unique with it so that it is noticeable on TV and in the video games. Use it to get money AND attention. Like the red turf or the blue turf or the LED lights that everyone now has. Self promotion isn’t a problem. Every team in the NFL wraps the inside of their sideline walls. And several of our future peers do to. Personally I’d rather use the space than cover ugly plain concrete with boring plain brick.

Long-term it isn't really an expense... and it is a classic look for stadiums. We don't have room to plant hedges, so a nice brick facade would look classy. When you have spent $100,000,000 on renovations over a 15 year period, a layer of one-inch brick pavers around inside isn't much of an expense.
Count me as a no vote on using the wall for advertising. That's very PARD.
