I AM FOR WHAT EVER COACH RICH ROD WANTS!!! He obviously had input in this decision. I think it's wonderful. We play in Montgomery & Huntsville with an almost new football team and a new coaching staff. What a great coup. This has been in the works for a while. It will be a different game with the directional thing. May we'll be in the end zone side where all the scoring takes place. Sure beats the almost 4 hour drive to Florence.

I don’t think we had anything to do with this. It is a UNA home game and they chose to move it to a baseball stadium an hour away.
Beats having to go to Montgomery, although we at least use a football stadium there and not the Biscuits stadium.
Edit…from reading the UNA board it is all on them. Apparently they want to play one game a year there as a home game.
I have no problem going to Madison. I just wish it was in a football stadium.

I love Tuna in Huntsville. At Bonefish Grill or Kona Grill... Football, not so much. Greenbriar BBQ. If its still there! Boutique Air actually fly's into Florence out of ATL. Cheap too! So for JSU fans in ATL, it could have been a easy flight in to see the game. Well, it used to fly into Florence. A Copilot I've worked with flies one on the side for a private individual, says its very comfortable at 30,000.

If that's their idea of a plan to build JSUs brand nationally then we really are screwed. I've got to believe this glorified high school game was UNA's doing.

Unless they built a new one, the airport is in Muscle Shoals.

Not a bad drive from North Jefferson County. Actually slightly closer than Burgess Snow for me.
If it's anything like Region's Field in Birmingham, it will be an odd place to watch football. You have to think both schools will bring enough to sell it out.
I'd rather this game be in Florence, but whatever.
Whup Tuna any place, any time.
Might be the last time we see them for awhile.

With this being the last time we play them in FCS, you’d think they would want as big a crowd as possible and make it a huge event. I don’t see how having it in Madison is so profitable with fewer tickets available. I would imagine the rent is higher than in Florence (stadium is owned by Florence School System) plus the expense of converting the field. I was at the game at the Braves stadium and the viewing wasn’t good. But it’s their call so we’ll just have to deal with it. Glad to be out of FCS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
