I like 10 if there are at least 2 good ones. Love to have 3, but in todays transfer world keeping options is wise. This is what I'm hoping. If we pull in 10 QBs and end up with another 2017 QB situation I'm going to lose a lot of faith in this coaching staff extremely quickly.

Lack of reps and development. There is already limited reps in college football today due to new rules (no more Two-A-Days and others). This will also hurt recruiting as some prospects may look at other options to potentially play early or at all. When I was recruited to JSU in 2010/2011, we had 4 QB's on the Roster (Ivory, Blanchard, Darrah, and Coates) I would be the 5th...I was weighing between JSU and FAU but one factor that weighed into my decision was the fact that FAU had 10 QB's already on the roster, I would have been the 11th. You may be better than 7 or 8 of those guys as a freshman, but finding an opportunity to showcase your skills/talent was going to be tough. This has nothing to do with "running from competition" and more to do with opportunity to fulfill your dream in playing/starting a D-1 football. (I'm still undefeated btw). There's obviously multiple ways to find the best fit at QB, but I just don't think this is necessary when we could be building depth at other positions as well. Limited spots even with the move up to FBS. I have faith in Rich Rod regardless of my personal opinion tho...

I certainly don't want this to be a yearly thing. Ten QBs is way excessive, for the reasons our favorite undefeated former QB has noted.
I trust Coach Rod enough to believe (hope?) this is a one-time deal, just to kickstart the program.
I do expect most of these guys to either transfer or (in some cases) move to other positions where their athleticism can be put to use. At least a couple will likely redshirt.
But it's a heckuva lot of QBs... no doubt.

I believe Rich Rod knows this is not sustainable.

Perhaps some of the ten can transition to another position or enter the portal if they don’t work out. QBs are often very athletic and flexible.

I know at least a couple of the new guys were listed with the dreaded ATH tag on recruiting services. (Dreaded only because many QBs with that tag never get a real shot behind center. Remember, Crowe had Eli playing safety...)

I wouldn’t say dreaded, I’d say these guys wouldn’t have a place to play or even a shot without this label.
