I don't know much about them except that we beat them by 20 at their place last year. However, they are Trojans so I hate them.

Didnt they get kicked out of the SBC? Says a lot about your program.

Didnt they get kicked out of the SBC? Says a lot about your program. They got kicked out for not sponsoring football. Now in the OVC. UALR finished last season 9-19 and ranked #328 by KenPom. Should be a near-guaranteed win, but it's not the kind of opponent that improves our SoS. The Lobo Classic in November is a step closer to what we need. If we can come out of that tourney undefeated, we'll at least establish some separation between ourselves and the cluster of teams in the #150 range. I really hope we can land some games with teams in the #50-#100 range. Those are winnable games against tough opponents, which is exactly what we need to rise in the rankings. The sad truth of being in a mid-major conference is, once the nonconference portion of the schedule ends, we'll effectively stop rising in the rankings. These nonconference games matter.
