I posted this last year. I think that it does have significance in Jacksonville.
I hope that everyone will take a minute on the anniversary of 9/11 to remember my friend Dwayne Williams.
Dwayne and I graduated from Jacksonville High School together. I went on to JSU; Dwayne went to UNA to play football. Later receiving a commission in the US Army.
Dwayne was killed at the Pentagon on 9/11.
Many of you remember his mother “Officer Pearl Williams”
Thank you for remembering a great guy who was always taking care of other people. He always had a smile on his face!

Solemn day today! God Bless our military and country. I think about this hero every year because of the original post about him, years ago.
