We better play good defense and not try to outscore them. Their QB and WR (#2) are the real deal.

G5 games are so hard to forecast. On one hand, the Gamecocks are capable of beating teams MUCH better than Tulsa. On the other hand, we could get crushed 31-0, a la UAB last year. I'm going to lean toward the positive, though. I think we pull this one out. Take a close lead into the 4th quarter, and then at some point in the final minutes, we add an insurance TD. 35-21 final. Gamecocks win. It's weird. I don't think we've looked as dominating the past couple weeks as we did against SFA. We didn't look super great against Murray until later in the ball game. I just have a feeling that catches up with us here. I don't think Tulsa is as bad as some here may believe. 35-24 Tulsa That said, there are so many factors win or loss I'm very interested to see. Mainly, can our offense move the ball against a better defense and sustain a drive with a tempo like we saw against SFA? Can our offensive line control the LOS? Can our defense get pressure on Tulsa's QB? If the answer to all three of those questions is yes, I reserve the right to change my prediction. I think part of that is SFA is not the team we thought they were.

Looks like Tulsa, Peay, and EKU are the best teams we will play this year.

That's the marquee game on the schedule for everyone else besides those of us who would be happy losing every other game as long as we destroy Kennesaw State. Chandler Burks fumbled.Seriously though, a road win at Tulsa would be enormous. That's the type of team we will see every week starting next year, and I'm sure the coaching staff is making that known to the players. 1000 times yes!

Let’s just go out there and ruin their college experience, knock some d’s in the dirt (sorry), and make them beg and plead…. Is that too much to ask?
