If the PAC reaches down to CUSA, I think it stops with UTEP and NMSU. They're lousy football programs, but otherwise are decent athletically, they're solid schools, and they fit geographically.
I would love to see it happen. (The MWC can take them, if the PAC doesn't.)
It's nothing against the Miners and Aggies... It's just that the thought of a more South-centric CUSA makes me happy. If someone wants to grab FIU while they're at it, be my guest. Same reason.

So if the pac is decimated it will be markets because excellence is gone elsewhere. So are markets in the 90s good enough? Los cruses and El Paso? Doubtful are they examples of excellence? Nope So that leaves the remains of cusa Excellence or market who would measure up? It does seem unlikely the pac would be decimated to the level of adding cusa schools?

If only one left it would suck because at least now we can hit both in basketball on a weekend swing. Although with an odd number league I don't see how everyone could do that.

Will Randy Owen pay our $3 million exit fee? LOL ... it's probably safe to say, if we were joining the PAC, we'd be able to afford a measly $3M.
