I figure about half of that will occur
And some will half way happen.

Marshall and ODU left because their feeling were hurt the AAC didnt want them. Moving down just made them feel better. USM I understand their move to save some travel money and try to restart a struggling program by playing a slate of SBC teams. JMU took the first FBS ticket just like JSU. Marshall, ODU moving plus App made their move to SBC the right one plus its a league they can dominant along with App.
IF the CUSA plan keep moving the direction its headed JSU will be in as perfect of a FBS league we could ever have, dont think the SEC is calling in the next few hundred years.

I'm not so sure about that. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Judy McLeod and Gary Gensler together at 31 Flavors last night discussing a merger of the two conferences under the CUSA banner. I guess it's pretty serious. True story. But to your point, Southern Miss definitely had a financial and geographical case for leaving CUSA for the Belt. One could make a solid argument for ODU as well. (In both cases, I'm being nice and ignoring comments from their fan base.) Marshall left because they're Marshall. They bounce around conferences more than Tigger on meth. My guess is, they'll grow disgruntled in the SBC and bounce back to the MAC within 8-10 years. Max.

Don’t think that’s legal.

From what I've read Kennesaw has gotten the green light to move to CUSA.

From what I've read Kennesaw has gotten the green light to move to CUSA. Yep, heard it this morning on WSB radio. There still has to be a vote by BoT but the talk was they will vote to do it not they might vote to do it.

Those end zone seats look extremely vertical.

All I got when I clicked the link was the home page for ESPN Minus.

All I got when I clicked the link was the home page for ESPN Minus. It's not the home page. It's the streaming page for the Sam-Tarleton game. When the game is actually on, the game will be there. (As I said, if you're interested.)

Not sure where else to put this, and it really doesn't deserve its own thread, so I'm sticking it here.
Two things have become suddenly clear in the past couple of weeks:
If Jackson State and Missouri State ever warrant an invitation to CUSA, it's going to come based on their actual merits, and not on the reputation of their head coaches.
The lesser jsu is now Prime-less. And the lesser MoSt is now Petrino-less.
Between the two, of course, Mo State is FAR more attractive. At least they're strong across the board athletically and weren't just riding the flashfire success of a charismatic head football coach. I still have them behind several other candidates on my wishlist, purely because, if they don't want CUSA, why should CUSA want them? I would've loved to have had Jackson State, since a "West" team which is still within a relatively easy drive of Jacksonville would be a great thing. But man... that athletic department is just a cesspool of suck. It'll be interesting watching their football team collapse back down to mediocrity over the next couple seasons.

Still havent heard from anyone who I believe would know the truth that Mo St was been invited. Have heard they were not invited. More than likely SBC folks trying to beat their drum incase that is who the SBC has to invite next. Wanting them to sound better to the masses.
