With the firing of Tulsa’s Phillip Montgomery, almost every FBS coach was no longer at that same job within two seasons of playing against Jax State. Most were fired. Some retired. A few were rewarded with better jobs. I had complied a list a few years ago. I’ll see if I can locate it and update it soon.

Unfortunately, Montgomery's firing doesn't make that Tulsa game look any better... No. Just an interesting trivial note. It didn’t make the loss to Les Miles’ LSU team look better either.
