Yes RPI matters . Troy got in because of having a RPI of 38 . We better wake up in scheduling. Instead of playing these little darlings we play .

The best RPI posted by a team in the ASUN this year isn’t enough to get them an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. The only way to receive a bid is to win the Conference Tournament. Oh look, Lipscomb won the ASUN Tournament and they received the ONLY bid.

That cost them as well . It’s about the repetition of the conference and how teams did in the conference and where majority are rank . That’s reality.

CUSA got two teams in, Charlotte and DBU. The only future member with a lower RPI is FIU. We were also ahead of UAB.
