Smother's was injured? I must've missed that, what happened? If that's the case, any updates on the seriousness of their injuries? Not sure, but serious enough to keep both out of the game and put a 3rd string redshirt freshman in for his first collegiate snaps in what was at the time a very winnable conference game. Like I said, I must've missed Smother's injury. I thought HCRR pulled him because he wasn't hitting open receivers with his passes. Silly me.

Thought the Lee Greenwood song took all of the remaining life out of the team and fans. Liberty started the 4th with a quick TD. JSU has played well in the 4th on the road where Lee Greenwood songs are not played. I seriously wish they would cease playing that Lee Greenwood song. I cringe every time I am there and that song starts. It is old and tired and puts people to sleep. I understand honoring military veterans/ my dad was retired Navy. But find another way. I think for years Jax St had a rather “‘old” fan base that embraced that song. But it has served it’s propose. Move on/ it is more appropriate for a 4th of July celebration/ not a college football game. Things move slowly at our Alma Mater. And no- I am not young. Nearing social security age.

Losing Webb and Smother’s to injury ended the game. Again/ 2 INT’s before they got hurt took points off the board. And badly timed penalties. Pretty competitive for 3 quarters. Defense was gassed in 4th quarter. Smother's was injured? I must've missed that, what happened? If that's the case, any updates on the seriousness of their injuries? Smothers limped off after first series of 2nd half. Looked like an ankle. He was not pulled for any other reason.

Here's my take away... HCRR has lost confidence in Logan, and rightfully so. Starting last night, Zion was going to be our starter for the rest of the season, as he was also named a captain. #15 Ashton Frye is the future. Wheels and a gunslingers arm.... WOW. Our DB's and QB's are the weak spots on this team... and we're getting exposed. Frye is actually the 4th string QB. Third string guy ( forget his name) was not available either apparently. So they were trying to win a game against the best team they play in conference with a 4th string redshirt freshman taking his first snaps in the second half.

I couldn't find where someone asked, but the announced attendance for the Liberty game was 21,745. A bit down from the 23K+ last time we played Liberty at home, but not bad at all for a Tuesday night.

We did a great job showing up for a midweek game. Much more impressive than Middle's turn out the week before. From what I've seen on TV, Liberty and Jax State have the best fan support.

I would say actual attendance was 17k. Not bad.

I refuse to stand for the song. If you ever see Greenwood ask him why he didn’t stand up and defend the USA he says loves when he was of military age. I’m all for supporting the military but doing it every game comes across as patronizing. Have a big production at one game and honor the “veteran of the year”.

I almost did not stand for song last night but did not want to look like a Jack Ass with the people I was around. But agree with you completely.

It should be changed to something more upbeat.

Crowe and Clark both stood for the song.

So you don't like Lee Greenwood, but "Quilting party" is ok?

So you don't like Lee Greenwood, but "Quilting party" is ok? Yes. Don't start messing with Quilting Party. That is a real tradition.
