Can’t meet the minimum standard? NO PROBLEM! Just drop all standards. Problem solved.

Can’t meet the minimum standard? NO PROBLEM! Just drop all standards. Problem solved. FC For the 2021-2022 application cycle, several schools dropped the requirement, including Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, New York University, Princeton University, Stanford University, and Yale University Some low standard university doing the same?

It never measured academic success anyway. Also the quality of education has dropped nationwide. The quest for student bodies have dropped the demands made on students, Also online courses are a joke. You can purchase the answers to tests online. True standards should be made and adhered too and the desire to pacify the student body dropped. But then they are the consumer and they will attend where the work load is the easiest. So who wants to volunteer to cut their enrollment? Sign of the times.

The ACT and SAT are really most valuable at weeding out the academically deficient and (for the NCAA) helping detect academic shenanigans.
If a 5-star recruit has a 4.0 GPA, but an ACT score of 11 and/or an SAT score of 430 ... well, there might be some grade-fixing in play at his high school. Buyer beware.
When it comes to real-world students, though, an average score (~15/~1000) is just as good as a perfect score, if the average kid's willing to put in more work. An awful lot of those "average" students make the Dean's List once they're having to pay for school themselves. It's not like you have to have the quadratic formula memorized to make an A in English, biology, or economics.

Quadratic formulas are easier than English.

University makes more off students with a 12 on the ACT more than those with a 31. Because those with a 31 are on scholarship.

The same is true everywhere. Ive watched the Jesse waters show do his schtick at a lot of prestigious and even ivy league colleges. College students are uneducated and some are stupid.
