I saw that Rich Rod was a potential target for Troy State. Apparently they have a lot of money to give. They were paying Sumrall $1 mil, and supposedly had counteroffered $2.5 million when Tulane was trying to strike. Coaches dont move from CUSA to SBC. It works the other way.

Examples, other than Liberty?

Coaches go where they can make more money.
I read that Bill Clark is a candidate.

Coaches go where they can make more money. I read that Bill Clark is a candidate. Exactly. Let's not have the delusion that the SBC is going to lose coaches to CUSA. Liberty is the only one that can do it. Just like Liberty is the only one that can afford the NIL "split" that's coming while we're all left behind.
It's one reason Rich Rod is even being mentioned. Because I could see him chasing $1 million more and packing up for Pike County.
Coaches are always going to chase better money. Troy State's coach had it made in Pike County, until a 6-year $18 million contract came calling. Plus Tulane has a massive NIL collective that's probably the richest in the G5.
I also saw where Bill Clark was being mentioned from multiple outlets. That would certainly be interesting... and would probably make a lot of UAB fans angry.

Don't see HCRR making a lateral move.

I clicked on that link and a virus warning popped up. I think RR got mentioned because he’s a big name, had a good season, and is in the same state. Would he leave for the same money or just a slight bump? Probably not. Would he leave if they doubled his money for a place where the last coach went 23-4? I know I would.

NDSU HC Matt Entz will leave after the season (the SF round is next week) to be the linebackers coach at USC.

Troy State has things we don't have though that may be attractive.
A bigger stadium with nice facilities, future P5 home games, a decent-sized NIL collective (that I have heard DeMarcus Ware helps fund), and now a future IPF coming. Plus they can pay at least $1.5 million if they want him bad enough.
I don't think TSU goes for him... but I could be wrong.

JSU pffers a better location with a lot more population closer. A stsdium being upgraded and a new fieldhouse and dining facility. Not an old one like troy state can offer. JSU has a covered practice facility in the plans, not sure how troy state plans to accomplish an IPF for 10 million? JSU can match any offer because CUSA provides more funds to their members than SBC. According to reports our media deal is larger, our CFP money is larger and our basketball money is larger and the membership is smaller.
troy state has more years in FBS and an easy route to a conference championship but not much else. Unless you want more empty seats in a larger stadium.
troy state has a good track record of finding young up and coming coaches and I would stay the course. Only negative, those guys are attractive ie Brown and Summeral.

Your claiming a move from CUSA to SBC, is there any example of that? Our is just your continuous downgrade of JSU? Sure youve already reserached all of the movements so list the ones who have moved from either conference to the other. I just know you dont go down to move up. Chadwell is a great example, if you want to play in a NY6 bowl which conference has never had one?

You're the one who said it.
I am a realist. I'm thrilled with where JSU is. But I don't make up stuff to elevate JSU's status.
