With the conference season behind us. Do you prefer the Tuesday Wednesday Thursday games on cbssn and ESPNU or the Saturday games on ESPN+?

Give me national TV every time. October was fun.

CBS was my favorite by far. ESPN is better than + but not by much.

I never realized how busy my Saturdays were until this month, when I suddenly had to figure out how to squeeze in a Gamecock game after an entire month of not worrying about it.
I'd like to see ALL conference games in September and October moved to midweek. Nonconference games during September can stay on Saturdays. Any week zero games (conference or not) can stay on Saturday as well.
The justification for adding September to the conference midweek schedule: it's hot. A midweek game, by necessity, would have an evening kickoff. The national TV coverage and better quality broadcast/announcers is just a bonus.
The justification for not adding November: it's (usually) cold. A 1 p.m. kickoff is ideal when highs are in the 60s and lows plummet to the 40s. We can leave the miserable game conditions to the MAC. Besides, this leaves the University with a couple games to host its various alumni weekends, and for most alumni, Saturdays are way better than weeknights.

The weekday games were great. All eyes were on us and we definitely picked up some new followers. Better production values by far.

CBS was my favorite by far. ESPN is better than + but not by much. Agreed, CBS Sports is the best. It was less fun the second time around, because of FIU's dozen fans and poor team. But that UTEP game was fantastic.

Does anyone have the broadcast ratings in comparison to ESPN+ Streaming channels like ESPN+ (as well as linear CBSSN) aren't Nielsen rated, so there are no publicly available ratings for those. ESPN and CBS probably have some way of tracking viewership, but they tend not to share those numbers, unless it's something they can spin into marketing. EDIT: My first post mistakenly included CBSSN as a streaming channel. It's linear, but is NOT Nielsen rated for some reason. I did get that part right.

CBSSN is a linear tv channel You are correct, but they are still not Nielsen rated. (Not sure why not. Someone should ask the Nielsens.)
