What’s your top 3 moments in JSU football history 1. The night we destroyed Sam Houston to go to the Natty. Rushed the field, top 10 moment in my life. 2. Our first win after stadium renovations: Deep ball from Ivory to Bonner for the win. Great moment, finally felt like we arrived as a program 3. The night we beat Ole Miss. I will never forget where I was.
What your top 3 moment?

I’m young and attended JSU from 2014-2018 so my top moments don’t go too far back, but here they are:
1. Hail Mary to beat FSU on the last play of the game. 2. Interception by Jeremiah Harris that sealed Jax State’s first ever win as an FBS team and member of CUSA. 3. I’ll go with another game from this season, last minute drive in the 4th against Sam to go down the whole field and score and get the 2 point conversion to tie the game. Then win in OT

1. Ole Miss win - Went to the game with my daughter who was a senior in high school. She ended up going to Auburn and saw the kick six. She still says the JSU-Ole Miss game was the best game she saw, so that's good enough for me. 2. 92 Championship 0- fFinally closing the deal in Florence against Pitt State. 3. FSU win - Should have beat them in 09. Sat through a rainstorm in that game. You have to talk about the Hail Mary, but our defense also played lights out that game.

1) Cody Blanchard's 4th & 15 throw to Bonner in the end zone vs. Ole Miss. When the announcer said "Welcome to Big Time College Football ... Blanchard needs 15 to keep this thing going" every hair on my body stood up. 2) Being at the Natty in Frisco...I know we lost but I was so proud to be a Jax State Gamecock! 3) Hail Mary against FSU. We'd come so close to beating them in previous years, and to do it in that manner was amazing.

Man... getting to a Top 3 is hard.
1992 - Literally the entire season: Any time Danny Lee touched the ball; Every bone-crunching hit by Ja'Karl Barnett and the Red Bandits; Watching Sean Richardson move the pile; Finally beating the Gorillas in Florence. 1998 - Beating MTSU in the rain. Not sure why this one sticks with me, but it always has. 2005 - 65-20 dismantling of the Mocs in their own house. 2010 - Ole Miss. 2015 - Destruction of Sammy to advance to Frisco. (We don't speak of the following week.) 2021 - FSU. 2023 - Beating UTEP for our first win in our first game as an FBS team.
There were a few game-winning Hail Mary's along the way, other than the FSU one. I just can't remember the specifics. One that sticks out was in Paul Snow in the early-to-mid-90s. I remember the catch; I just don't remember the opponent or who caught it. It would be on this list too, if I could remember anything about it.

I believe Bonner caught the game-winner later that year against SEMO.

I want to say Central State.

Mine personally:
1.) The surreal silence of a sold-out Jordan-Hare in the third quarter. 2.) Watching the the last play of the Florida State game. I wasn't there live, but it was still one of the most exciting things I've ever seen.
3.) Half-time against Michigan State. Not strictly football. But my first performance with the Southerners. First time in a college stadium. Having the stadium stand up and applaud for us after having blown off their own band was something I won't be forgetting anytime soon.

I think the play was against Western Illinois for the win. The Leatherneck's bench was taunting JSU fans and missed the the Hail Mary, when they turned back to the field and realized they had lost...priceless. JSU fans then returned the taunting, " take your whipped ass home. "
Big C little o cks... Jax State Gamecocks...Oh He'll Yes!!!

I remember it was very cold that day also. Here’s two more I should have mentioned from the 92 season. Playoff games against Alcon State with Steve McNair. New Haven game. They had a great running back named Roger Graham.

That one Alcorn State game in 1992 against Air McNair -- when we totally shut him down for two quarters and were blowing them out by 5-6 touchdowns at halftime, only to watch him throw for nearly 500 yards in the second half and ALMOST steal the victory -- sheesh... that was unforgettable. But I can't call that one of my "greatest" Gamecock memories. Stomach-churning, definitely.

How is Bender’s interception against Baby Huey not listed on anyone’s list.

1) Ole Miss in 2010 | This was such a fun time. This birthed the Legend of Coty Blanchard. Hate that we didn't win the OVC or a playoff game that year. 2) CUSA invitation | This moment isn't from a particular game, but it marked the payoff for over a decade of work and tens of millions of dollars in investments. 3) Knocking off Sammy to advance to the FCS title game | The season ended that day and I cannot be convinced we played another game.

How is Bender’s interception against Baby Huey not listed on anyone’s list. I very heavily considered it. If I hadn't gone for a personal Southerners thing, it definitely would have been my #3

I would also have to add to my 3 "moments", the loss to Mississippi College in the 1989 D2 natty in Florence. There was a snow storm the night before that dumped about 5" of snow. The toughest 3-0 loss in JSU history.
I was there in body... and it was the best 2 days of my college "partying" life!
