JSU and Bama the only AL schools with members.
Glad to see only 11 offensive and 11 defensive players plus 3 special team players. Hate to see All State, All Region and All County teams with more than 11. Some will even have less than 5 OL to get more QBs listed as an"athlete". Man up and name 11 and make it a real honor.

Congratulations Clay, and keep pushing those boys around in NOLA.
This also proves to JSU athletes that they don't need to go to a P5 school to be noticed.

Ok, so let’s acknowledge the “Elephant in the Room”.
How does a player receive multiple NATIONAL recognitions, including AP 2nd team All-Americian, and yet……is ONLY named to the second team by his own conference?
Who are the morons voting in CUSA? Do they actually WATCH the games?

It is odd but I havent watch enough of the others in conference to know which ones are the best. Would need to watch a lot of games across the nation for the All America award.

If these award are like All County, dont put much into them except their coaches pushed real hard for their selection.

Not a reall AA team, too many players on either side of the ball. You only get to play with 11 on offensive and 11 on defensive.

The first team had 12 on offense and 12 on defense plus an “all purpose” player listed with the offense. While I agree it isn’t a true “team”, it’s not an everyone gets a trophy situation.

More than deserving. Teams have 11 on each side for a total of 22. Understand a punter and place kicker plus maybe a returner. Do you just have a punt returner or do you need a kickoff returner? Guess we would need a holder if we need a place kicker and I guess we do need a kick off kicker. And dont forget the long snapper for punt and we will need a snapper for field goals and extra points. This one didnt have many of the special teamsers but yes it becomes a partipation trophy if more than 11 are recognized on either side. Why stop with 12? All purpose, didnt notice any who would have played on the line being all purpose? Good thing for Webb there are only 5 OL so he does know he was not given any special treatment. But it isnt as bad as Calhoun County, who had 173 players recognized between POY, 1st, 2nd and HM teams. Over 14 players per school. 67 were on the first teams. 1-3A had 36 first teamers (2 were kickers). Feel terrible for the few starters who were left off must have pissed their coach or East Alabama sports off. Sorry for my rant just a pet peeve. For the record I do not have any kids playing football.

He is an All-American. Be proud for him and our university. We won our first FBS game, went to our first bowl and now our first AA all in year one!
