Putting in bleachers vs seats keeps the University's options open for further expansion/renovation at a later date, while maximizing capacity.
The surest way to get another round of improvements approved is to show that there's a need for it. If JSU continues to draw 20K+ per game, those changes will come far more quickly than if we only pull 15K.

Thoughts on both - ROC and North stands of Stadium. I hope the ROC Performance venue will be the appropriate size, with the necessary amenities and seating, for the events and performances for which it was originally planned. I look forward to seeing the plans and the construction timeline for the indoor rehearsal site for the Southerners, ballerinas, indoor color guard, and indoor percussion that was originally pitched as part of the ROC and for which money was raised from donors. I’m just glad we may finally have a usable visitors side come fall, and hope it will be an improvement over what we had prior to this multi year ordeal. Go Jax State!!! The indoor areas for Southerners and auxiliaries did not materialize, causing quite a few tens of thousands of dollars pledged to be withdrawn.
