With their HC resigning and going to USC as a TE coach (Replacing Jody Wright), the transfer portal will open back up for GSU players. Are there any GSU players good enough to help us improve?

They've got an extremely talented roster.
I just don't think their coaching staff has brought out the full potential.
On their 2024 roster, I counted:
3 SEC transfers
7 ACC transfers 3 Big 12 transfer
7 SBC transfers 1 MWC transfer
1 AAC transfer
1 MAC transfer
1 UConn transfer
That's a lot of FBS-quality talent we could use. A cornerback that just transferred there from Georgia Tech was a 4-star Under Armour All-American. They also have a 4-star LB from Clemson that came in. I wouldn't mind taking those two.

With the hire the Panthers made (UGA run game coordinator and RB coach Dell McGee) they may not lose very much at all. It's possible some receivers may be waiting to see what kind of offense he plans to run (if he's an old school run the bawl guy, they'll bolt) and obviously, any defensive players will be watching his DC hire closely. But just taken at face value, State made about as close to a home run hire as a program like that is capable of. It'll be interesting to see what McGee can do there.
