I did not know where to put this topic . So CBS Soorts shows football and we have played basketball on there once . That I know of , why can’t our baseball games be on there , I have yet to see women basketball team on there . Football was great .
We need to increase the revenue on TV . The conference is losing money by them not showing other sports .

JSU baseball broadcasts aren't suitable for national TV Not just JSU baseball. Outside of the Collegiate World Series, NCAA baseball in general is not a revenue sport. Broadcasters just aren't interested because (in general) fans aren't interested.

I see most of our games are on ESPN+ ...Is anyone watching??
I don't get ESPN because of my location so I'm ineligible.

I have espn+ for other reasons and I go to as many baseball and softball games as I can. But if I'm out of town or missing a game for any reason, I wonder if I'm one of like 10 people watching lol

I watch quite a bit.

I watched a little bit of the Samford game with Eli announcing. Let’s just say he’s no Vin Scully.

This means we have no way to compare JSU (and CUSA) streams against those of other conferences or those on other networks. So whether a game pulls 37 viewers or 37 million viewers, even though the Mouse has some idea of the actual numbers, no one else does.

I can tell you it's low. When I see streams of free games on YouTube, if will often show double digit viewers. Even for popular teams.

I've seen someone ask "What channel is ESPN+ on for ____(insert cable/dish company)___ users?" as recently as last football season.
A bunch of us have cut the cord (I did it way back in 2010), and that number climbs every year, but so many others are still watching traditional linear cable/satellite, just like the old days. Even now, in 2024, while I'm not sure of the exact percentages, the number of viewers who don't stream *anything* has GOT to be close to 40%-50%.
And that means a HUGE chunk of viewers will never see a game on ESPN+, no matter how attractive the participating teams are.
