If the refs wouldn’t take so long spotting the ball and get out of our way, we could really show off. We need penalties for mistaken injuries. Teams stop the clock only to put the same player back in the game one play later. We played one team last year and the same player stopped the clock and returned one play later about 6 different times.

We played one team last year and the same player stopped the clock and returned one play later about 6 different times. You're being too kind calling them mistaken. Fake is more accurate. Maybe require an 'injured' player sit out more than one play or if it's an obvious flop, perhaps the entire drive.
