I read an article from a Clemson news source that was talking about how players transferring out of Clemson aren't usually successful... then they mentioned Coop and said that he "will go down as one of the all-time greats at Jacksonville State University."
I am not bashing him. He is very talented... but then he makes a chuck and duck throw that gets pick-sixed... or reels off a string of a dozen incompletions. Yeah, he can throw it 100 yards through a brick wall, but is he that good? One of the all-time greats?
IMO Eli >>>>>>>>> Coop.

I'm with you. Again, not bashing him but the inconsistancies kill me. Seems like down the stretch last year it got worse. Maybe he was trying to carry the whole load on his shoulders? The OL was problematic. Blah, blah. Don't know but there were several instancies that it seemed like he just threw it directly to the defenders.

I’m a Cooper fan. He’s got to get his interception number down of course. 14 his first year and 12 last year (2 fewer games). But he has had almost no running game and last year, the O line were terrible pass blockers also. Maybe the new QB coach can help him with the decision making. Right now he has not been the QB that Eli was or Perilloux, but I may change my mind after this year.

To be honest, I don't think ha has gotten any better since arriving. I do not blame him for this.

It's hard to shine behind a lackluster line. Perhaps we don't know how good he is.
Eli was very quick and elusive. When needed he could get gone.

I think it's going to be another disastrous year for him unless he has suddenly figured out how to read routes. I think he's a victim of not being able to change the play or throw to a secondary receiver.
