While on the surface, it's a good problem to have (indicating increased enrollment), and things may be further muddied by the whole tornado thing (to what extent, I don't know), this is really a problem that should never happen.
You can't set a university goal to reach 10,000 students (which JSU has stated on a number of occasions dating back to at least the late 90s) without having residential space available for those students. If you don't have the rooms, that should be priority one.
Now, I know the stadium expansion is a residential project, so it's not like NOTHING is being done about this, but again, they've been pushing for increased enrollment for 20+ years, and in that time, they've built exactly one dorm: the last stadium expansion. Meanwhile, they've torn down at least two: Weatherly and Rowan. That's a net zero at best.
Not every dorm has to be attached to an athletic facility. Sometimes you just need to build a building.

Weatherly was haunted and did have asbestos. I don't know why they didn't build back over it, though.

Didn't they refurbish Forney or something over by Kitty Stone?

Weatherly was haunted and did have asbestos. I don't know why they didn't build back over it, though. I was there when they demolished Room 212. Bright sunny day. Demolition begins. Horrific thunderstorm out of nowhere. Demolition continues past 212. Bright sunny day again. It was weird.
