Are we one of the "sniffers"?
Let’s rank the top 10, although there are several schools sniffing right on the outside of these teams.

Monmouth is getting all sorts of love for "nearly" beating Sam Houston in a first round playoff game.
The Hawks are certainly worthy of a Top 25 ranking. They played solid, mostly mistake-free ball against the Bearkats. Their QB was a true freshman in 2020-21. Kid's got moxie. They never quit, even after going down 21-0 in the 3rd quarter against Sam.
I give them plenty of props for that game.
But Monmouth wasn't the only team to play the Bearkats close last spring.
Another team lost 24-16 after being down 21-3 in the 3rd quarter.
So... who's got the NWSU Demons penciled in as a dark horse to win the Natty this fall?
Anyone?
No?
I didn't think so.
p.s. I also don't believe Delaware is all that great. They beat us by 6 points when we were without our top two QBs and half our DBs. I'll start the OVERRATED cheer, if no one else wants to...

Monmouth is getting all sorts of love for "nearly" beating Sam Houston in a first round playoff game. Kennesaw game maybe helping them, too It helped Monmouth, but not as much as it might've had the game been close. That game hurt Kennesaw far more. Kennesaw was 4-0 heading into the Monmouth game, but their wins were against such powerhouses as Shorter (D-II), Chuck South, Dixie State (D-II transitional), and Robert Morris. A solid performance against an actual Top 25 FCS team was vital for the Owls, and they failed miserably. Monmouth helped itself with one strong quarter in the first round against the eventual champ. I honestly think they're going to get rolled by NCAT.
