Excellent story. Can we get "Trips F Bullet Virginia" on a shirt? It is a great article. The thing I take away from it though is this... From the article: Tyler Allen, a 25-year-old graduate assistant-turned-offensive coordinator, called the play: Trips F Bullet Virginia. From the sideline, Allen signaled to his quarterback to throw the ball to the Z receiver.Tyler Allen is now the offensive coordinator and calling plays. Did JO lose the role after the UAB game, or was it before?

Allen is a Neal Brown disciple.
Brown is a Mike Leach disciple, but his own offenses mix in a lot more runs. He'll even use a fullback if he's got a good one available.
Not crazy explosive like a pure Leach offense, but he runs a lot of spread, RPO, sweeps, play-action, and screens.
It sounds a lot like the offense we ran against FSU. We didn't bring an offense to the UAB game.
