Not sure that's as big a bad mark as you think it is. Baylor has only had 8 9+ win seasons since Woodrow Wilson was president. Art Briles has 4 of them, Grant Teaff had 3 in the 80s, and Matt Rhule has the other. Baylor historically has been TERRIBLE. And the B12 during his tenure was loaded with top 10 teams. FWIW I thought he should have replaced Malzahn at Auburn. Has he gotten the vaccine? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Let me just check my notes real quick.... Idfk.

Steele would be a good transition coach. He has tons of contacts and could put together a good staff. He’s getting up in years though so probably just good for a few years.

I believe he's 62 or something. What do you think is going to happen In a few years?

It also states that he was paid 450k per year. But that he was owed 850k left from his contract.

Clearly Sark has much higher aspirations. I feel like he would leave at the first possible opportunity. I’m not against someone wanting to move up, but I’d also like to have someone who wants to coach in Jacksonville, at least for the time being. I’d rather not be the hill with the chain pulling on someone’s roller coaster of a career. Maybe one without a chain, but if Sark has to leave UT for JSU, we’re clearly the chain trying to pull him back up. Once he gets over the top, he’ll fly down the other side racing to the next position. Give me someone who maybe doesn’t stay forever, but spends enough time to build something that will stay after he’s gone.
And he’d probably re-enroll in the Saban Coaching Rehab program first anyway.

Put O'Brien on the next bus out of T Town with the red carpet waiting on Sark. Won't happen, but?....

Sark results makes you question the recycle route. USC and TX are about as good of jobs than exist and if you cant win there maybe your role in live is an asst coach.
Appears those who make bad off the field decisions can be successful again on the field but the one who are not good on the field remain the same. Sure someone will come up with examples to make me wrong.
