Mutanda, a 5-8 guard from Minneapolis, Minn., joins the Gamecocks following a two-year career at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Fla., under Head Coach Bart Walker.
During her two-year career with the Raiders, Mutanda played in 53 games and helped lead the squad to back-to-back State Championships in 2021 and 2022 and a NJCAA Division I National Championship in 2021. NWFSC went a combined 51-5 in the two years Mutanda was on the court. She redshirted her first season with the Raiders in 2019-20 before taking the court in 2020-21 and 2021-22.
Mutanda averaged 11.5 points per game during the 2021 national championship season and added nine points in the championship game. In the 2021-22 season she averaged 6.4 points per game.
