More mid week games the better in my book. Not for us out of town people . What the point of buying season tickets or donating? If all we going to do is play during the week . Then the next day people work . You burning two days of leave to go to a football game . I predict a drop in ticket sales .

The two midweek games drew just as well as the Saturday games. But please don't let facts get in the way of your opinion.

Attendance was just fine without you then, it will be fine without you now. Same goes for donations. The University got by just fine without the $2.00 you didn’t give.

Last year was the first year in FBS so there was a lot of excitement around that . Plus we count the 500 members in our band to help the numbers . Like most schools do , however our band size have grown over the years . There will be a drop off.

Games against Coastal Carolina and Southern Miss (and the home portion of our CUSA schedule) are going to draw more fans than games against Davidson and SELA. This is objectively true.
In 2022, we pulled 18,462 fans to the Davidson game and 18,654 fans to the SELA game. For the season we averaged 18,161 fans at home. Our 5-year average for 2018-2022 was 15,228.
In 2023, we averaged 20,033 fans, a figure which included nonconference home games against ETSU (21,276) and EMU (20,966). This raised our 5-year average (2019-2023) to 17,418. This was despite the fact that the stadium was a construction zone and the north stands were barren concrete and "officially" closed to spectators.
Liberty (21,745) was our biggest crowd of the season. It was a Tuesday night game.
There will not be a drop off in 2024.
For the record, the 500 band members represented only 2.5% of our average home attendance in 2023. The other 97.5% were actual fans.

I have heard USM fan base doesn’t travel good from what I been told . If it was baseball then that would be a different story. They struggle in football with attendance.

I bet you a Cooter’s rib plate there will be more than 20k at the Southern Miss game.

Positive info like that risks bursting his balloons filled with dangerous amounts of pessimism and doomsday gas. Regardless, he has the superpower of supreme self confidence, causing each volley of facts to miss completely by soaring over his head.

I’ve witnessed that FIU doesn’t travel well. They didn’t even travel across the street to watch our game with them in Miami last season.

Are you excluding the band members from your total ? Official count. No one excludes band members. Watch the game will fall on band day and there be 20 schools there setting a record. Because of that I decline the bet . But we can one day eat plate of ribs from there . I promise I won’t fire anyone unless the ribs are dry .
