Good thread idea.
I'm a December 2019 graduate (FINALLY).
Member 2014-2017 Marching Southerners.
First found out about JSU in high school. Our assistant director was a JSU grad (and former Southerners DM). We came to the BOA here in 2012 and that was my first time seeing campus and the Southerners.

I am from Piedmont and a attended my first JSU game in 1979.
My aunt and uncle graduated from JSU.
My 2 brothers graduated from JSU.
Numerous cousins graduated from JSU.
My brother is a professor at JSU.
My wife graduated from JSU.
I attended JSU for the first 2 years of my undergrad and was invited to walk on n 1991. I played 20J in the Southerners when my bad knee would not cooperate.

I am a double graduate, BS in '94, MS in 2007. Lived in Dixon Hall for three years, hence the user name. I marched Southerners in '89 and '90. I love JSU!

05-09 Criminal Justice major. Marched in Southerners from 05-08, was in Wind Ensemble for two years because I was forced to be keep my $500 scholarship. I saw the Southerners once when I was in 8th grade and knew that's where I wanted to go and never thought twice about it. I've only missed five home games in 15 years and three of them were last year if that says anything...

Graduated with BS in Management in 88. Had more fun in college than anyone should. Left with plenty of stories to tell. Lived in Logan Hall and probably every apartment complex in Jacksonville at one time. After college, life happened and I had little involvement other than following the sports team from afar. Got more involved about 15 years ago in setting up a alumni chapter and serving on a couple of boards. Have backed off some on all that as life has again happened and time is limited.

JSU Grad. Biology, English, music. Don't use any of those in my current job. Well, maybe English, but only because I speak it. Sinfonian, former Southerner, charter Cockpit Orchestra member, charter HardCorps member. ("Charter" makes it sound so much more formal. But I was in pep band both times it changed names.) Honorary 20-J. Don't know what I did to deserve the honor, other than marching a silver Conn with a nekkid lady on it, but I'm grateful nonetheless. Married to a former Southerner.

What was your Toad name? Was never a toad, hence the "honorary" label. The Conn I marched was a bari sax. But the honorary status was official -- I was listed on the old 20-J site member list, and even made the back of a couple of 20-J shirts back in the day.

B.S. Geography 2001. Apparently the new President was in some of my classes but I don’t remember him but I do think its cool that a geography major is now running the place. Currently I teach geography at the high school level.
