Didn’t we have staff member to leave us for there ? Mel going to be gone . Mel? Oh, I'm caught up now. Forgive me, I've been sick all weekend. Brain's still foggy. I was racking my brain trying to remember which JSU staffer was nicknamed Mel. It's 2023, so anything could happen, but I don't think Jax State has much to worry about with this opening. Sparty's not going to replace a HC accused of sexual impropriety with a HC who was once accused of sexual impropriety. Bobby Petrino and Hugh Freeze are also on the safe list, FWIW. |

Since everyone on here loves kissing Pat McAfee’s butt, he just suggested RichRod as the next Michigan State coach.

Hey guys. See that you all are still getting acclimated to the whole FBS thing.
My theory on Michigan State. Former MSU Defensive Coordinator and current Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi from my perspective is the top guy for Michigan State. MSU needs a "safe" choice.
In FBS coaching hires you have to look at the cause-effect situation. If Narduzzi goes to MSU, who would go to Pitt? West Virginia is awful close to Pittsburgh.

I wouldn't worry now, but Alley is getting national attention and will probably be moving up somewhere next year.

Given his performance at Michigan, I don’t think little brother is going to hire him. It would be like Auburn hiring Mike Shula. To be fair, it was a segment where they were giving rapid fire takes on a variety of topics so it’s not like he put much thought into it or gave some passionate endorsement of him for the job. I didn’t even hear what anyone else said. |

Even though they lost to NC State today, they had another good showing. If the Marshall coach gets a big job, I wonder who would want to go and coach in WV? |
