Screw that I want my chairback seat and on or near the 50. I'd prefer to not be surrounded by visiting fans. I say put them back and charge more to pay for them. Also is that suites along the top of the stands below the tents? And is there any seats or is it all bleachers? The picture is unclear as to what is below the tents. A previous post said it was seating at high boy tables for the folks that have rented the tents for hospitality. That makes sense to me. Everything else is going to be bleachers. You are not getting your chair back seat again unless you come over to club level. It's the cost of big boy football and I love it!!!!The new end zone facility looks like it will have enclosed suites for hospitality and chair back seats directly outside those suites for watching the game. We have got to keep increasing revenue if we are going to try and keep CRR and this staff as intact as possible. Club level sold out (for the first time) Saturday. I imagine prices will go up a bit, but not too much, for next year. There are a lot of new seating options coming online and they need to push those as well as club level. Based on sales of those look for changes in 2025. I would imagine they want the stadium full for TV and fewer in front of the windows inside club level.

I'm with Slim on the chairbacks.
I think there's plenty of room for a "chairback/reserved seat" option between $15 GA and $100 club level. Most Southerners fans are going to want to be on the south/home side so they can watch the band. But an awful lot of football fans, including many visiting fans, don't give a crap about watching the halftime show. But they DO want to be midfield.
So give them that option. Premium seating on the north side. $25 in advance, $35 on game day. They'd sell. Jax State would make more money. And there'd still be plenty of GA seats throughout the stadium for everyone else.

We do NOT have enough fans willing to pay $35 to fill up the north side stands. And if you only do one section, I would say raise it to $50. We probably have the same number of fans that would pay $50 as $35.

My 2 cents, I don't like the tents at all... and chair backs in the visitors side is a must.

They used to have a "gold level" seating area right below the club seats that had an intermediate price. It didn't have chair backs though. I am a proponent of tiered seating levels to maximize revenue, but we will need to have ushers to make sure only the those who paid a premium have access. The same for any chair backs on the north side line. I'd suggest chair backs for the center 2 sections but only several rows.

We do not need event staff freaking out over people going to the 50 yard line to watch the Southerners like they did that one year.

The same for any chair backs on the north side line. I'd suggest chair backs for the center 2 sections but only several rows. Yeah... my family and I sat in the area formerly known as Gold Level at the La Tech game. Heck of a seat for a (reduced price for band alumni) $6 ticket. It would've still been a heck of a seat for $25. I agree with brother that two full sections of chairback seats on the north side would be WAY overkill. But there should be some. The two sections that used to have red-back chairs in front of the old pressbox are Sections D and E. You could take 10 rows of each of those and make them chairback seats. That'd be about half of what used to be available on that side, or about 200 seats total. (The old red-back seating extended down about 17 rows and was about 750 seats.) Since these would be "premium" seats, you could go with a bit nicer, wider seat, maybe with some integrated cup holders, etc. Slight changes like that would easily justify a $40-50 gameday price. Heck, do the same thing below the Club Level seats on the home side. Restore the old Gold Level but with nice chairback reserved seating at a $35 advance/$50 gameday price point. I guarantee you the Southerners crowd (parents and alumni) would gobble those up in an instant. If necessary, reduce the number of "Club Level" seats in favor of an additional level of reserved seats. (That is, reduce the actual chairback seats in Club Level, not the number of available Club Level tickets.) If people aren't going to use them in favor of standing indoors at the window, take some of them away. There's obviously demand for seating on the home side. It's just hard to justify $100-$150 per seat for some families and alumni. We were tempted, but decided since it was our first time visiting Jacksonville in quite awhile, it made more sense for us to spend that extra money in town at our favorite restaurants than to eat at the Club Level buffet.

We do not need event staff freaking out over people going to the 50 yard line to watch the Southerners like they did that one year. There needs to continue to be GA seating between the 35s for just this reason. Just lower down in the stands. The reserved chairback seating needs to be higher up. Under the Club Level seats, but above GA.

The Gold section on the new home side was a disaster. Not enough people were willing to pay for them. So, when they were there sitting empty, everyone thought they should be able to sit there. This resulted in anger toward the security staff trying to enforce the area. I'm afraid the same thing will happen with chair back seats on either side. That's why I would say to limit it to a very small amount until there. Once you start letting people sit there without paying for it, you will NEVER get them to pay.

Start off with just a few rows. Offer then at a substantial discount. Once they fill, star raising the prices slowly each year and/or add more rows.

It's cheaper to do it now than to add rows at different times. Put back the number you want to have and charge a lesser amount raising the price as you fill them. I am pretty sure these seats will fill much quicker than the yellow level seats did. As I said before no one wants to pay to sit elbow to elbow with people sitting straight up with knees in your back and your knees in someone else's. I'd pay 100 bucks a seat to have room to move or breathe. So would many many others.
