If the Coastal game is "transfered" to JSU, it could come as a home & home. With the game at JSU potentially the home (renovated stadium) opener in 2024. The reverse could happen with Eastern Michigan, JSU could play there in 2024. It could be good business to help Liberty and New Mexico State to clear out games. fbschedules.com/ncaa/liberty/fbschedules.com/ncaa/new-mexico-state/An awesome 2023 non conference goal could be: 09/09 at Coastal 09/23 Eastern Michigan 10/14 at Louisiana 11/04 at South Carolina For 2024: 08/31 Coastal 09/14 at Eastern Michigan 10/05 at Fresno State (if they go to the PAC, might get $750K) 10/26 Louisiana Remaining P5 schools with an opening for a G5 in 2024: 1. NC State2. Duke3. Syracuse4. TCU5. Cincy6. Houston7. Northwestern8. Rutgers9. Auburn10. Tenn11. Alabama - yes I know you will say Alabama won't play JSU. 12. Boston College

Boston College Alabama won't play us. Also to be fair, Auburn won't play us again. Duke would be a good get for us. Possible win as well and a good trip to take.

Love to any and all, Rutgers would be my least favorite but would like to play a winnable BIG game.

There are a large group of alumni in and around DFW. I moved into a new neighborhood 5 years ago and found out the couple across the street met at Jax St. in the 70’s and bought flowers at my mother’s florist. While walking around the neighborhood this past spring, I met a guy mowing his lawn who stopped and commented on an article of Bama clothing one of us was wearing. Found out he graduated from Jax St. in the 90’s. He had no idea they were moving to C-USA. (Marketing?) 750 miles away and there are at least four graduates within a quarter mile of each other. We have an alumni chapter out here, but it’s hard to get folks to attend any events. Had a pretty good turnout for a dinner with the President about 10 years ago, and can usually get 15-20 to show for a football-watch party. Would love to see more trips to the area. Baseball has made one trip out here to play DBU recently, but other than that the closest trip has been 4-5 hour drives in the last decade. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

DBU is now an affiliate member of CUSA for baseball, so JSU will see them every year starting in the 2023-2024 season. SFA and Tarleton are two oft-mentioned candidates for future all-sports membership in CUSA. If either/both make it into CUSA, then JSU will be regular visitors to that part of Texas.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk How far are you from Sam Houston St? About 3 hours. 2 1/2 to SFA and 2 1/2 to Tarlton. Baseball played at A&M one year. A few of our alumni group went down and we provided a barbecue meal for coach Case and the team. My family stayed in College Station for the series, but we were the only JSU fans there. Saw a couple of more at DBU, but mostly players’ parents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sam Houston is not a horrible drive because it’s right off I-45. SFA is difficult because it’s about an hour and a half off of I-20. Not sure about Tarlton - never been to Stephenville, but it looks like the fastest route is all backroads. DBU is about 30 - 45 mins from my house, right off of I-20.

10/05 at Fresno State (if they go to the PAC, might get $750K) If we have to play at Fresno, we should get AT LEAST $750K. Travel costs are usually factored into guarantee payouts. (It cuts both ways: this was one of the justifications used by troy state to low ball us when we inquired about a possible guarantee game there about 15-20 years ago. They took their standard offer and cut out the standard accommodations for travel, food, and lodging, and the amount of the guarantee dwindled away to the point of disrespect.) Besides, Fresno's got cash, even without the PAC. Make em pay. Fresno replaced BYU with Kent St. Now scheduled for 9/23/23. JSU plays EMU that day.
